JustFoodForDogs

Simon is his first dog. When he was six months old, he rescued him from the heavyweight. It wasn't until he was nine that he discovered what the law allowed in dog food. He was shocked and angry. He found not only misleading labels, dangerous chemical preservatives and disgusting "ingredients", but a completely self-regulating industry. A very broken one. He started cooking for his dog and immediately saw the difference. So did the neighbors, and soon he was feeding their dogs too. He knew it was a better way. He assembled a team of veterinarians and experts to develop healthy, nutritionally balanced meals, and in 2010 launched the first-ever dog kitchen, making fresh food accessible to all. Since then, their mission at JustFoodForDogs has been to improve the lifespan and quality of life of pets as much as possible through real food and nutrition through the following core values.

Felix started working on Cold Turkey in 2010. At first, Cold Turkey was a side project while working a full time job. Little did he know how many people would find it useful! In 2017, he decided to take the plunge and started to work on it full time. To this day, he is very grateful for the support he has received from his supporters so that he can continue focusing on improving his products. Thank you! It all started in university when one of his  friends, Jacob, asked him to block World of Warcraft so that he could study. That's when he made a tiny program that would do this for him. It went great for Jacob, but not for him. He too, wanted to block a few websites to help him focus. However, as a Computer Engineering student, he always found an easy way around the block that he made. He gets feature requests almost every day from people that like his software and want to help make it better. Development can be a little slower than some larger companies, but over time, he adds in the most requested features. When you purchase one of his products, you're not only investing in yourself, but in his continued work in the software. So thank you, once again!

Welcome to SOCKBOX – the awesomest sock of the month club based in Canada. He is Marshall, and he began SOCKBOX while working in Corporate Calgary back in 2014. He was bored with the day to day suit and tie, and was looking for a way to have a bit more fun with the corporate uniform. On a normal day at work he decided to hit a well known department store to find some colourful, fun socks to brighten my day. Instead, He discovered a messy, overwhelming environment, and no one to help him make a choice. Once the perfect pair of socks had been obtained the lineup was long, and he needed to be back to work – consequently he left without the socks. Then he turned online only to be frustrated trying to buy items that were only available to ship to US addresses.

Redline Steel

Redline Steel was founded by Colin Wayne in January 2016. It all started when he and a friend were working out at the gym in September 2015, and he showed him a great piece of art that he had created for his son, the company called Unnamed Purpose. It's a baseball piece in which the silhouette of a bat-wielding guy has his son's name cut out. It caught his attention immediately, and he said, "Mark, he has to buy one for his son. So he gave him his contact information, and he got in touch with him via Facebook. A few minutes later, he replied and said that due to his current backlog, his manufacturing lead time was about 10 weeks. So he just replied, "No problem, when things slow down and you reach out, he really wants to do something for his son. "No problem," was his reply. BAM is a company with a great product, with long lead times, and obviously won't let people down with demand that high.
